Meet the Therapist
I believe healing and lasting change are possible. My Christian faith has shaped my passion for serving others with compassion and genuine care. I believe every person's story is unique and deserves to be met with understanding and respect. I am passionate about helping teens and adults navigate life's challenges with practical support and encouragement. Whether you are struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship concerns, or major life transitions, you do not have to face those challenges alone.
With more than eight years of experience in behavioral health and two years providing counseling services, I have had the privilege of supporting individuals through a wide range of emotional and life challenges. My background in behavioral health, case management, and counseling has given me a deeper understanding of the different experiences people face and strengthened my belief in each person's ability to heal and grow.
Helping individuals recover from the effects of trauma is one of the most meaningful parts of my work. I understand how painful experiences can influence the way we see ourselves, relate to others, and move through life. I consider it a privilege to walk alongside my clients as they work through those experiences and begin to move forward.
I believe therapy is built on trust, compassion, and genuine connection. My desire is to provide a safe and welcoming environment where you feel heard and understood. Together, we will work toward meaningful change that supports your emotional, relational, and personal well-being.
Therapeutic Approach
My approach to counseling is client-centered, evidence-based, trauma-informed, and culturally responsive. Because no two people experience life in exactly the same way, I tailor therapy to your individual needs, values, and goals. I view counseling as a collaborative process, with treatment shaped around what is most helpful and meaningful to you.
I draw from a variety of therapeutic approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and other trauma-focused interventions.
Depending on your needs, our work may focus on understanding patterns that are keeping you stuck, processing difficult or traumatic experiences, developing healthier ways of coping, and building practical skills you can use in everyday life. Whether you are facing anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, trauma, or a major life transition, therapy will be tailored to help you make meaningful progress toward the life you want to live.

Beyond the Office
Outside of counseling, I enjoy reading, painting, cooking, baking, spending time outdoors, and going for walks. I especially value time with family and friends and appreciate the simple, everyday moments that allow me to slow down and recharge.
These parts of my life help me stay grounded and remind me of the importance of making time for the people and things that bring us joy.
Christian Counseling (Optional)
At Healing 180 Counseling, I recognize that faith can be an important part of the counseling process. My Christian faith is the foundation of my life and shapes the way I approach my work and care for others. For clients who desire it, I am honored to incorporate biblical principles, prayer, and a Christian perspective into therapy in a way that respects your individual needs and preferences.
Faith integration is always optional and guided by you. Whether your faith is central to your life, something you are exploring, or not something you wish to include in counseling, you are welcome here. My goal is to meet you where you are and provide counseling that respects what matters most to you.
If you are ready to begin counseling, I would be honored to work with you.
