Meet the Therapist

Compassionate. Trauma Informed. Rooted in Hope.

I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor passionate about helping adults live with greater clarity, purpose, and peace. Many of my clients come to therapy feeling overwhelmed by emotions, stuck in old patterns, or unsure how to move forward.

Together, we create space for healing by slowing down, processing what’s beneath the surface, and building a foundation for lasting change. My approach is grounded in empathy, trust, and authentic connection. I believe healing happens in relationship, and I strive to offer a space where you can feel safe, seen, and supported.

Therapeutic Approach

Evidence Based + Heart Led Care

I provide trauma informed, personalized counseling for adults (18+). Many of my clients experience emotions like shame, fear, or guilt - feelings that can make life feel heavy. But they don’t define you. Through compassionate, evidence based care, we work toward balance, clarity, and confidence.

I draw from therapies such as:

  • Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART)

  • Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR)

  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)

  • Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR)

  • Somatic and Attachment Focused Techniques

  • Internal Family Systems (IFS)

  • Inner Child and Talk Therapy with nervous system regulation

Credentials

  • M.A. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling – University of the Cumberlands

  • M.A. in Addiction Counseling – University of the Cumberlands

  • B.S. in Psychology – Texas A&M University

In addition to my private practice work, I’ve served as a counselor in dual diagnosis treatment centers and inpatient psychiatric facilities. These roles have deepened my understanding of mental health and the complex challenges people face and reinforced my belief in the power of personal transformation.
